Vitreoretinal Technologies, Inc. is an ophthalmic biopharmaceutical company striving to improve lives through healthier vision. VRT's strengths revolve around two compounds for the treatment of some of the most serious ophthalmic diseases — diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and retinitis pigmentosa. Vitreosolve^® and Neurosolve^® are first-in-class drugs of which Vitreosolve^® is in Phase III stage of clinical development and Neurosolve^® has received regulatory permission to begin Phase III studies. Data from several Phase II studies completed suggest that these compounds may be safe and efficacious. However, additional definitive studies need to be conducted to confirm these hypotheses. These drugs have been developed to reach the unmet medical needs of a large population threatened with vision loss.

This management team has over 100 years of combined experience in the research and development of pharmaceutical products as well as experience navigating through the complex regulatory environment and entrepreneurial vision.
