The Disease
Retinitis pigmentosa is a deterioration of the retina. Retinitis pigmentosa is a hereditary disease of the photoreceptor cells of the retina, often leading to blindness.

The Opportunity
Retinitis pigmentosa patients are currently without a cure to alleviate blinding vision loss.

The Solution
Results of clinical trials completed to date suggest that Neurosolve^® appears to arrest the progression of retinitis pigmentosa in some patients. Additional studies are planned for 2009.
